How sverige.email handles your personal data.

The sverige.email web site is run by Vinland Technology AB. When this policy refers to “we”, this means Vinland Technology AB.

The tl;dr version

We strictly limit the processing of your personal information, and in general try to process as little data as possible to fulfill our mission. We will never sell your data to any third party. The only third parties that may potentially receive your data are: people working for us; recipients of open letters; and EU or Swedish authorities, only if the law compels us to disclose information.

Why do we collect data?

• Some of our services require payment, and we have to collect certain data to facilitate that payment.

Who can access the data and how long do we keep it?

• Currently only the principal can access Vinland’s data. We keep the data for as short a time as legally possible to enable tax payments and other bookkeeping we are obliged to keep. As short as possible — we do not want to keep personal information.

What are your rights?

You have the right to:

• ask us whether we process your data, and, where that is the case, request access to it;
• request rectification of inaccurate personal data;
• obtain erasure of personal data in many cases (for instance, if it is no longer necessary, or if you have withdrawn your consent and there is no other legal ground to keep it);
• have incomplete personal data completed;
• request the restriction of processing of your personal data;
• object to processing, as well as the right to data portability;
• lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
